Blue Peter presenter runs in Olney pancake race
Despite the race normally being restricted to women, Barney Harwood ‘creped’ into the competition in Olney this morning.
Speaking to the BBC before the race, Mr Harwood said: “I’ve never taken part in a pancake race before so I’m looking forward to it, as long as I get to eat the pancake at the end.”

Hide AdNormally runners must be female and have lived in the town for three months, but instead Mr Harwood dressed in a blonde wig and apron to run for a feature on the programme.
The Olney Pancake Race dates back to 1445.
