A 13-year-old was pulled from his bike and threatened with a knife by four men.

It happened at around 8pm last night when the victim was cycling with friends along the redway on the edge of Westcroft playing field, near Cranborne Avenue, in the direction of Kingsmead.

As the young boy cycled past the group, one of the men grabbed hold of the victim’s left shoulder and pulled him, causing him to fall from his bike and onto the floor.

The man then kicked the victim on his left hip as he lay on the floor.

The same man then approached victim with a small knife, which he held to the victim’s face and threatened him before picking up the victim’s bike and cycling off in the direction of Tattenhoe.

The other three men ran off with the man who had stolen the bike.

The man who stole the bike is black with very dark skin, aged in his mid to late teens, around 5ft 10ins with dark coloured eyes.

He spoke with a deep voice and potentially had an African accent. He was wearing a black and white vertically-striped hoodie with the hood up covering his hair, black jogging bottoms and black Nike Air Max trainers.

The other men are also black, of a similar age, and were also wearing black jogging bottoms and trainers.

The stolen bike is a hybrid bike, with a silver and red frame, black handle bars and black writing on the frame. It is around six months old.
