Boy, 16, escapes injury after attempted robbery

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy escaped a possible robbery as he walked along a city redway on Wednesday.

At around 1.10pm on Wednesday the boy was walking between towards Giffard Park from Great Linford Park, when he was approached by two men who demanded his bag.

When he refused one of the men kneed him in the leg while the other tried to take his bag. He defended himself by punching one of the men and then ran away.

The first offender is black, possibly older than the victim, around 6ft 5ins with stubble on his face. He was wearing a black hooded jumper and grey jogging bottoms. He spoke with a slight accent.

The second offender is black, between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 6ins tall and of a small and slim build. He had a hood up so his hair could not be seen.

The victim suffered a sore leg and damage to his knuckles. He attended the Milton Keynes General Hospital but did not need treatment.
