Boy, 9, bitten by dog

A nine-year-old boy was bitten on the leg by an out of control dog in Newport Pagnell last week.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at 4.30pm last Tuesday.

The boy was cycling from Hornbeam to Cypress in Newport Pagnell when a couple with two dogs came towards him on the path.

The boy stopped to let them through but one of the dogs bit him on the leg.

The owner was a white man, around 18-years-old. He was wearing baggy jeans and was on his phone. He had a large black dog on a thick chain lead.

The second owner had brown hair with red and purple streaks. She was walking a German Shepherd dog.

The victim suffered grazing and bruising to his right leg but he did not require hospital treatment.
