BREAKING: Another inmate dies at Woodhill Prison in Milton Keynes

Yet another prisoner has died at Milton Keynes' problem-plagued Woodhill prison, the Citizen can reveal.

The man, whose name had not yet been released, is the ninth inmate to die at the jail in the past year.

His death on December 11 comes in the middle of a judicial review launched by relatives of victims who took their own lives at Woodhill.

It also comes less than three weeks after governor Rob Davies is understood to have left the jail to go on secondment elsewhere.

It is believed his place has been taken by a female governor, Amanda Moffett.

There have been 17 suicides at Woodhill since 2013.
