Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images of men they would like to speak to in connection with an aggravated burglary which happened on Monday evening in Milton keynes.

At around 9.30pm four men forced entry into a property in Whittington Chase, in Kingsmead.

The victim, a man aged in his forties, was in the property at the time and was confronted by the men.

The offenders, who were armed with a knife and baseball bat, demanded money from the victim, but fled empty handed.

The victim sustained minor injuries to his hand.

“We would like to reassure the community we are investigating this burglary,” said Det Con Lucy Jarrett, from Milton Keynes Force CID. “If anyone has any information but has not yet come forward, I would urge them to do so as soon as possible by calling our 24-hour non-emergency number 101.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who recognises the people shown in the CCTV images as they may have information which could assist the investigation.”
