THIRTY new jobs have been created in Milton Keynes with a national insurance company’s reorganisation.

National insurance broking group Bluefin is consolidating its finance operations function into its offices in Witan Court, Upper Fourth Street.

Robert Organ, chief finance officer, said: “We decided to consolidate our finance operations function into Milton Keynes to give us better management control, standardised processes and greater economies of scale. As a result, we expect to see improvements in client service and better career progression opportunities for our employees.

Bluefin, part of the AXA group, has branches in 45 locations, and employs 1,500 people providing insurance advice to around 250,000 clients ranging from large corporations to small businesses and private individuals.
