Action packed accountants took part in 007-themed challenges as a way of getting to know new colleagues.

Baker Tilly, in The Pinnacle, Midsummer Boulevard, in Milton Keynes, acquired the trading operations of RSM Tenon last month and the two firms will merge offices early next year.

Around 100 former RSM Tenon staff are expected to join the 80 Baker Tilly staff as the newly merged firm becomes the 7th largest accountancy firm in the UK, with annual revenues of £350m, and over 4,000 partners and staff working across more than 50 offices.

Both offices have spent time getting to know their new colleagues through taking part in a series of James Bond themed team-building challenges organised by Spy Games at their premises on the outskirts of Milton Keynes.

Terry Saunders, office manager for Baker Tilly’s Milton Keynes office, said: “It was great for us all to get together, and there’s a real sense of opportunity and excitement amongst everyone about the merger. Bringing together the skills, strengths and expertise of both firms will be of huge benefit to the clients and staff of both firms, and we are all very much looking forward to working together next year.’
