Five Milton Keynes businesses are now offering employees the chance to bank from their desks, after the Metro Bank visited staff at their workplace.
Teams from the Midsummer Arcade and Oakgrove Village stores visited staff at Boots and Krispy Kremes in centre:mk, Pure Gym on Snowdon Drive, KFC Xscape and Subway in Conniburrow, during the first two weeks of September.
‘Bank At Work’ provides employees with one-on-one assistance and the opportunity to open accounts, find out about products and services, and meet the local team - all without leaving their workplace.
Brian Woolrich, regional director for Metro Bank, said: “Getting to know the local community is really important to us, and Bank At Work provides a great opportunity to really get out there and talk to local people and businesses about what they’re looking for in a banking partner and what makes Metro Bank different.
“We understand how busy people are and we pride ourselves on offering a convenient alternative to the traditional high street bank, so it’s really great to be able to bring the bank right to the doorsteps of local businesses. Our stores are also open early in the morning to late at night, seven days a week, 362 days a year, and people can also make use of our call centres and personal banking app 24/7.”
