BUSINESS Link’s full support programme will be available only until the end of October, so act now to get help is the message.
Cutbacks mean that from November the government’s support organisation will have a much more focused programme, centred on its website.
The final series of free local workshops for anyone thinking about starting their own business will be held in towns including Aylesbury and Milton Keynes.
Business Link South East has helped around 20,000 people in the last five years with its programme of free start-up workshops, supported by online and telephone-based advice and guidance.
Regional start-up manager for the south east, Stephen Cunnell, said: “The first step is to contact Business Link’s customer service team with an outline of your new business idea. They’ll search for a factsheet and enrol you on a special three-hour ‘Is It For Me?’ workshop.”
