A GROWING company has brought 30 jobs into Wolverton Mill with the promise of taking on 30 more over the next five years.

Electronic point of sale provider TISSL has moved from Wingrave, near Leighton Buzzard, into a 6,500 sq-ft open plan office complex in Mill Square, Featherstone Road, as part of its growth strategy.

Kevin Coetzee, MD of TISSL, said: “TISSL started out in a garage eight years ago. We ended up running out of space for all the new staff required to meet the demand, and we were at the point where equipment and people were piled into the strangest of places. Despite taking over all available units here we had to bring in a cargo container to store equipment”

TISSL’s equipment for the leisure industry can include menu options, table management, membership features and live table status.

Stuart Coetzee, business development manager, stated “Having everyone in the same open plan area is going to make a huge difference, particularly with the pace we’re working on new technologies such as pay by phone, NFC and of course the new membership and loyalty module.

“I’m also excited about the new canteen. Having a dedicated break area with a TV and comfy chairs on site is going to be excellent for morale. Happy staff serves our clients’ needs better, and with our customer service ethos shaping every aspect of our business, this is critical to us.”

And he joked:“Plus, I don’t have to go home to watch the Euros.”
