A company’s corporate Christmas cards were designed at an ‘extra special’ special school in Milton Keynes after the boss fell in love with the place.

Packs of 25 cards are being sold for £10 by The Redway School, in Farmborough, Netherfield, to raise money for tablet computers for the 110 students to use in the classroom.

Chris Broome, managing director of Broome Financial Planning, in Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, said: “The Redway School Christmas Card designs are just one way we at Broome Financial want to give back to the local community.

“I have a friend who works at the school and he kindly offered to show me around. As soon as I met the fantastic children and the hard working staff I fell in love with the school and realised that our organisation had to help them fund raise.

“Together we have created five separate Christmas Card designs, which will be sold in packs of 25 cards, for a cost of £10 per pack. All proceeds are going towards buying iPads for the amazing children to use in their classrooms.”

Broome donated 150 boxes to the school and has paid for a visit by the Arena Touring Theatre on January 14, when they will be performing The Jungle Book to the children, parents and teachers.
