An estate agency with offices in Milton Keynes and Bedford makes monthly donations from each property sale to boost the coffers of a regional hospice.

Elevation Estate Agents, in Mill Street, Bedford, and Knowlhill, Milton Keynes, has been supporting Keech Hospice Care since the beginning of 2011 and so far raised in excess of £6,000.

The company has chosen to support the cause, based just outside Luton, as its charity of the year again for 2013.
As well as donations, Elevation donates gifts and items directly to the hospice and to Keech shops. Keech Hospice Care offers support to children with life-limiting conditions across, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, and adults from Luton and South Bedfordshire.
Paul Thomas, director at Elevation Estate Agents said: “Keech Hospice Care does amazing work and we are thrilled to be able to show our support in this way so they can continue caring for local families across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.”
Maggie Doust, corporate fundraising at Keech Hospice Care said: “We are extremely grateful to the whole team at both the Bedford and Milton Keynes branches for supporting Keech in this way. The donation they have already kindly made, with the promise of further donations throughout the year will really help us to make every day count for the adults, children and their families that we care for.
“We don’t charge a penny for our care, but to do this, we must raise £5million a year to be there for everyone that needs us so without gifts from our supporters, and support from local businesses like Elevation Estate Agents, Keech Hospice Care simply couldn’t exist.“

The hospice is depends on the general public to raise approximately 75 per cent of its £5million annual running costs, as only 25 per cent comes from the National Health Service.
