An international accounting and business advisory firm has signed up as headline sponsor for a huge conference and exhibition being planned in Milton Keynes next year.
Mazars, which has an office in Midsummer Boulevard, is backing Business Expo 3.0 at stadium:mk on March 8 because it ‘echoes themes we regularly discuss with companies around the world’.
Phil Verity, Mazars’ UK senior partner, said: “This conference and exhibition bridges the gap between where business leaders are now and where profitable commerce is heading. It will help them to plan and profit from new thinking, new technology and new markets at home and overseas.”
Business Expo 3.0 is being planned to include exhibition areas and keynote speakers dedicated to international trading, environmental developments, the high-tech future of cities around the world, and the role of new media.
Professor Keith Straughan, dean of UCMK, will be one of the keynote speakers, on the subject of the Smart City concept.
New technology and media keynote speakers include Apple education mentor Neil Emery and Pearson VUE’s managing director for AMEA, Matthew Poyiadgi. Expo organisers say attendees will learn what’s coming next for Britain’s businesses and how to harness the best of intellectual and technological progress.
