Milton Keynes queue management expert pulls out all stops for Olympics

A MILTON Keynes business increased its workforce by 20 per cent and upped its production hours by 102 per cent to complete work worth £500,000 for customers involved with the London Olympics.

Tensator, in Danbury Court, Linford Wood, has supplied its range of queue management solutions to household names including the official London 2012 Olympics store, underground stations, Harrods, London Museums, London Aquarium, Heathrow, London River Services and Network Rail.

Kevin Hickson, general manager at Tensator, said: “It’s been an incredibly busy, but rewarding, time for us all during the completion of these projects.

“There has been much publicity around whether London’s infrastructure will be able to cope during London 2012. Our clients contacted us when they realised that their current queue management systems weren’t sufficient to deal with the huge number of people coming into London during the games – and we were delighted to help them.

“We’ve supplied a wide range of our innovative customer journey solutions in order to help them deal with these numbers, ensure that their visitors’ queuing times are kept to a minimum during such a busy period, and allow people to enjoy their Olympic experience whilst in London.

“Tensator has also supplied queue management systems to the German gymnastics Olympic qualifying competition, and we’re extremely proud to be helping the London 2012 Olympics run as smoothly as possible.”
