THE Milton Keynes branch of UK business and enterprise education charity Young Enterprise, has a new man at the helm.
Eric Collins, pictured, MD of Nampak Plastics Europe, in the Interchange Park, Jenna Way, in Newport Pagnell, has taken over as chairman from Alan Bullen.
Nampak Plastics Europe makes award-winning HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) bottles for the food and drink industry.
Mr Bullen, MD of IT firm Lynx Networks, in Clarke Way, Mount Farm, Bletchley, stepped down from the leadership role after some years in the post.
Young Enterprise runs the annual local business contest that pits school student companies against each other in a battle of business acumen.
School teams are mentored by local business people for a year before judging takes place.
Mr Collins told Business Citizen, at a Young Enterprise gathering in The Living Room venue, in Midsummer Boulevard, the he is hoping to get more pupils involved in the scheme.
