A Milton Keynes based reflexology school has been named among the top in the country.

Three Shires School of Reflexology holds classes at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, in Tongwell Street, Fox Milne, and has been invited to become a Partnership Centre by the Cardiff based Independent Approved Centre Centralia.

Reflexology is an alternative therapy system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and ears. Three Shires will be delivering a new Reflexology Practitioner course.

Centralia director Sue Evans said: “To train as a reflexologist at a professional level it is vital that the course provider must be able to deliver the very best training. This is why we have chosen the Three Shires School of Reflexology whose record is outstanding.”

School principal Wendy Finke said: “We are delighted to have this unique opportunity to train our students at a much higher level than is prescribed by the current level 3 qualification. For too long there has been too much emphasis on the qualification too little on quality of training. This means that our students will get the recognition they deserve.”
