Business owners have been invited to attend a new seminar designed to help understand the Self Assessment tax return process.
The large number of self-employed, partnerships, company directors and anyone required to complete a return in the Milton Keynes area will be responsible for filing by January 31, or will automatically receive a £100 fine for being late.
New Self Assessment tax return seminars, presented by A4F Business Tuition, have been designed by accountant Jamie Crampton.
Mr Crampton said: “I have heard from many business owners who are confused and unable to understand how to complete the required Self Assessment tax return. I have written this course to tackle those very issues and enable seminar attendees to be confident in their understanding and clear in their responsibility - meaning that they can handle this activity themselves. Once trained, they’ll have no need to task an accountant to do this work for them, so they can save money too.”
In the three hour seminar, attendees will be guided through all aspects of the Self Assessment return by course director Jamie Crampton, including a step by step look at the form.
Seminars are taking place at Milton Keynes Novotel on Thursday (September 5) and individuals can book their places online through EventBrite at an early bird rate of £50 per place. A4F Business Tuition is running a seminar session during the early evening as well as those during the day.
Future seminars are also scheduled in Milton Keynes in November. For information visit www.a4fbusinesstuition.com
