IT specialists Bluecube Technology Solutions, in Blackhill Drive, Milton Keynes, have acquired Hypercubic, a London-based IT support provider.

The deal means Bluecube has a foothold in the London market.

James Hawker, Bluecube’s chief executive, pictured below, said: “These are really exciting times for Bluecube and we continue to go from strength to strength.

“We are very excited by the opportunities our acquisition of Hypercubic will afford our business and we are looking forward to continued growth and on-going success.”

“This is a fantastic deal for Bluecube. The acquisition of Hypercubic as a going concern means our capabilities in London will be far greater. At the same time Hypercubic’s clients will be able to benefit from additional services – like cloud-based and hosted services – and the option of 24x7 support.”

For a transitional period, the Hypercubic name will remain. Thereafter, all operations will be absorbed under the Bluecube banner.

Andrew Cruise of Hypercubic said: “The decision to enter into the deal with Bluecube was not taken lightly.

“Bluecube is an ideal fit with Hypercubic as it shares our ethos, values and mission, which means we are confident in providing an assurance to our existing clients that there will be no break in continuity of service.”
