A former Virgin marketing guru has launched his own children’s furniture company in Milton Keynes.

Paul Hanson’s online business The Children’s Furniture Company started out in Catesby Croft, Loughton, on October 8.

Paul said the company chose Milton Kynes as it offers ‘so many benefits to a new business’.

He said: “Milton Keynes has a growing skilled workforce population, especially in IT and e-commerce, which is perfect for businesses like ours which will be looking to recruit over the next 12 months.

“MK has an excellent infrastructure with great links across the country, plus there’s an excellent array of business service providers in the city.”

The company launched with six ranges and plans an aggressive product expansion over the next 6-12 months. It has ambitious plans for growth over the next few years in the UK and abroad.

Mr Hanson added: “We aim to bring consumers great looking products which are well made at a price that people can afford.”
