A newly relocated Milton Keynes supermarket offers big prizes as part of its loyalty card scheme.

Waitrose, which recently opened a new branch in Babbage Gate, Oakgrove, recently handed £5,000 to customer Colin Potter who swiped his myWaitrose card when he shopped.

Colin and his wife Suzie have lived in the Milton Keynes area for a number of years and were regular shoppers at Waitrose when it was located in Central Milton Keynes. They are glad they followed the shop move.

Mr Potter said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won and are planning on sharing the prize with our son and daughter in law who are about to move house. However we also hope to treat ourselves to a new sofa from John Lewis as well as a few special food treats from Waitrose!”

Branch manager Paul Taylor said the myWaitrose scheme is a chance to customers.

Each month one myWaitrose cardholder wins back the value of their whole month’s shopping and one Waitrose customer, as in the case of Mr Potter, wins a full year’s worth of Waitrose groceries.
