Can you help identify man who snatched pensioner’s purse?


Police want to speak to this man after a pensioner was robbed at a cashpoint in New Bradwell earlier this year.

70-year-old Hilary Saunders, of Wolverton, had her purse snatched on Monday, May 26 by after she was grabbed from behind by a man.

Hilary, who is chairman of Wolverton and Greenley Town Council, had just withdrawn £50 from the Co-Op cash machine on the High Street.

Three witnesses chased the offender and recovered the abandoned empty purse, but lost sight of him.

It is hoped the CCTV image released by Thames Valley Police will help track down Hilary’s attacker.

Det Con Susan Russell from Milton Keynes police station said: “We are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he can help with our enquiries.”
