CCTV released after theft in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image in an appeal for information following an incident of theft/fraud in Bletchley.

At around 2pm on October 28, the female victim was working at Oxford House Dental Surgery in Aylesbury Street, Bletchley, when she realised her purse containing bank cards had been stolen.

Later that day she received a fraudulent call from an unknown man who said he was ‘from the bank’, informing her that there had been fraudulent activity on her account.

The victim then examined her account online and noticed several transactions had been carried out in Northampton, which she had not authorised. She then contacted her bank and was informed that fraudulent transactions had been carried out on her account.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image as they believe he may be able to help them with their investigation.

Anyone who has any information of the incident should get in touch via the Thames Valley enquiry centre on 101.

If you do not want to speak to the police directly you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
