With the countdown on, an array of cultural and community groups have put their ideas forward to the MK50 Project Board for inclusion in next year’s celebrations.

The board is now coordinating what it promises will be ‘an exciting and inclusive programme of activities to celebrate the past, present and future of our amazing MK.’

The main MK50 programme will tell the story of the place we call home.

Events will include high impact, public headline events’ a calendar of walks, tours and trails, music, arts, heritage activity and sports, community activity and celebrations rolling throughout the whole of 2017.

Specialist academic events will supplement the festivities.
