THE council has agreed to look at the provision of parking spaces by the Whalley Drive cemetery in Bletchley after receiving a complaint from a member of the public.

Jacqui Theobald made an official complaint to the council after double yellow lines were painted on the road outside restricting visitors’ parking.

However, MK council stated the restrictions had been introduced to protect the vehicle entrance, the ambulance station and the NHS building opposite.

The decision was made after extensive consultation with town and parish councillors with three public exhibitions.
