City charity Climb Your Mountain is celebrating another successful climb of Kilimanjaro raising £10,000 in the process.

This was the 6th Kilimanjaro trip for the charity and they have an exceptional summit success rate.

Charlie Wardle, the founder of CYM, who was on his 4th trip said: “Once again the team were brilliant and fully deserve their success and experience of a lifetime. The preparation, training, fundraising and hard work was all worthwhile.”

CYM has also linked up with a local orphanage in Moshi, close to Kilimanjaro and the team took over many bags of clothes, toys, pens and books and will do so again on future trips. CYM offers many of these challenges like Kilimanjaro, the Inca Trail, Everest Base Camp, Mount Toubkal and Great Wall of China and in the UK many weekend mountain trips to help raise funds for the charity and for people to have a great experience.
