The charity is seeking spinal cord-injured volunteers who will be willing to draw on their own experience of living with an injury to help the charity’s peer support officers, who work in hospital and community settings in regions across the country.

It also needs volunteers to help with the running of two accessible walks.

The association’s Going the Distance events will take place on Sunday, September in 11, Liverpool and on Sunday, September 18, in London. Volunteers are needed to staff the registration desk and signpost the routes.
