City businesswoman Charlotte Jamme has been nominated in the UK’s biggest parenting awards for her innovative range of changing bags.
The Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Awards are some of the most prestigious awards in the parenting sector and showcase the best buys as loved by mums across the UK. Previous winners have gone on to great success including seeing their products stocked in high street stores as well as overseas.
Charlotte is the founder and managing director of Mia Tui bags, based in Middleton, which are aimed at busy mums on the go who want something practical that still looks good.
One of Mia Tui’s newest bags, the Minnie Amelie, a medium-sized tote, has been shortlisted in the Changing bags category along with seven other brands. There are 67 hotly contested categories in total.
The categories cover all parenting products from big purchases such as travel systems and nursery furniture, to everyday essentials like nappies, wipes and fabric conditioner. Voted for and tested by real life mums, every product that is awarded a Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Award is really put through its paces.
Charlotte said: “Practical Parenting & Pregnancy magazine has been trusted by mums and mums-to-be for 25 years. These mums know that recipients of a Practical Parenting & Pregnancy award offer exceptional performance and value for money.
“The awards help mums make the right decision about how they spend money on their family so being nominated is a fantastic opportunity for our company and I am excited to have made it this far.”
Daniella Delaney, editor of Practical Parenting & Pregnancy, said: “Last year was a huge year for the PPP Awards, with a fantastic set of winners. The award winners become the magazine’s benchmark products, and lead the way throughout the year as the best buys that offer fantastic performance and real value for money. We are really excited to see what our panels of mums choose to be the best of the best, this year!”
All shortlisted entries will now be showcased at madeformums.com in the build up to judging. Results will be announced in the February 2013 issue of Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Magazine.
