Children are Busy Bees at International Dance Day
Children from Busy Bees nursery in Browns Wood celebrated International Dance Day by putting on their own dancing shoes last week.
The nursery regularly takes part in movement activities including Wake and Shake and Shake and Write events to help them prepare for learning, but a nursery-wide dance disco let everyone show off their best dance moves - teachers included!
“Our Wake and Shake sessions at Busy Bees always help us to start the day on the right foot so the children loved the chance to develop the routines for International Dance Day,” said nursery manager Fiona Harvey.
“It really helps the children to improve co-ordination, build confidence and learn how to express themselves.
“There were some very impressive dance moves too!”
