PUPILS from Bow Brickhill Primary School took part in a unique village event raising money to conserve the All Saints church tower.

The Bow Brickhill through the Ages family fun day on Sunday, July 1 saw the steep road from the war memorial up to the church closed to the public and converted into a timeline from the present day back to the reign of Henry II in 1185, when the church was first established.

The Bow Brickhill school choir performed throughout the day and the schoolchildren were very excited to dress in costumes of monarchs from different periods.
