Children star jump their way to £1,000 for RSPCA centre

Reception class children who were inspired to help the animals they met on a school trip have handed over a £1,080 cheque to Blackberry Farm RSPCA centre.

Four and five-year-olds from Drayton Parslow Village school and Mursley CE School planned and held a sponsored star jump.

Teacher Lorna Sandmann said: “We are two small village schools with a total of just 31 reception children so we thought this was quite impressive.”
