Children from the Myra Tiffin Performing Arts School, aged between four and 17, are going to London on today to rehearse and then perform in a showcase at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
MTPAS were asked if they could provide two groups for this showcase of young talent and one group are performing a number called “O’Saya” whilst the other is a singing compilation number called “13”.
The school are delighted to support this showcase and although many of those performing have performed in the local theatres in this area it is a wonderful opportunity to appear at a top London theatre.
These two numbers were original performed in recent MTPAS show’s. The children have been busy rehearsing these numbers along with preparing for their recent ISTD grade exams and the new ISTD Olympic Awards, of which they are one of the first schools in the country to have candidates take their exams.
Later in November the school are providing all the juveniles to take part in “Scrooge”, starring Tommy Steele, and then all the juveniles for the annual pantomime, ”Aladdin”, at Milton Keynes Theatre.
