Christmas bazaar is a cracker

An impressive £5,000 was raised at Denbigh School's packed Christmas bazaar, thanks to an assortment of imaginative student-run stalls. They included The Nerf Pole, Rudolph Hoopla and Shoot the Grinch and Save Christmas. The 59 stalls were all extremely busy during the evening, raising funds to benefit charities such as Ride High, MK Snap, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, Willen Hospice and Mind BLMK.

The Denbigh Association will also purchase new outdoor furniture for the school with some of the funds. Headteacher Andy Squires said: “Denbigh’s Christmas bazaar is a much-anticipated event every year. The students again did not fail to impress with their hard work, creativity and originality in their ideas for their stalls, all to generously raise money for their house charities.” The school raised a further £1,000 the same day with a Christmas jumper day. This money will be donated to Harry’s Rainbow and Mind BLMK.
