Church makes lunch to stop pupils going hungry

A church project to feed hungry pupils during the half-term holiday was a mouth-watering success at Greenleys junior school.

Volunteers from CMK-based St Mark’s Church took over the school kitchens and served up more than a hundred hot, nutritious lunches.

The Make Lunch project was helped with donations from the city’s food bank and ‘also MK Soup.

St Mark’s now hope to roll out the scheme across MK.
