RESIDENTS of Newport Pagnell are being urged to come and have their say at the annual town meeting on April 19.

The meeting will be held at the United Reform Church in the High Street where councillors will announce news regarding town centre floral displays and other exciting events for the coming year.

Police will also be on hand to discuss changes that will be taking place within the police force and how they will affect services to residents.

The annual Town Award will also be presented to the person who has done the most for the area in the last year.

It will also give people a good chance to find out what is happening in Newport Pagnell and ask questions directly to town councillors over any issues they may have.

The Mayor of Newport Pagnell, councillor Wendy Egan, will be chairing the meeting which is scheduled for a 7.30pm start, with people urged to arrive at 7.20pm.

Refreshments, including wine, tea, coffee and sandwiches will be served after the meeting.

Everyone is welcome and to reserve your place RSVP by the deadline of April 10 by calling the town council office on 01908 618756 or by emailing Shar Roselman on
