Ele Parrott, aged 30, a nurse in the acute medical unit at Milton Keynes Hospital, and Emma Beasley, aged 31, who works as a PA in the city, are to run 322 miles from St David’s Head in Wales to Clacton over 13 days, running close to a half marathon each day and starting on Monday, June 20.

The two women have run a number of marathons and other challenges. Two years ago they cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End together which led them wanting to run across the country this year.
