Coffee morning and sale helps Romanian families
A coffee morning and sale held in Newport Pagnell will help families in Romania.
Mandy Pateman held the event in aid of Good News For Romania, a small charity which supports children and families in Barlad.
Friends and local businesses donated goods for sale, cakes and raffle prizes and about 70 people visited to help raise £600, with donations still coming in.
The proceeds raised will fund food, clothing, medicine, school equipment and an annual camp holiday for the children and families in the Romania area, one of the poorest in Europe.
