Collision in Milton Keynes town leaves motorcyclist with life threatening injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that happened in Olney yesterday (Wednesday).

A Blue Scania tipper lorry and a BMW motorcycle were involved in the collision on Clifton Road at 3.18pm.

The lorry was travelling away from Clifton Reynes towards the A509, the motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.

The rider of the motorbike, a 57-year-old man who was returning home from work, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

Sergeant Darren Brown from Thames Valley Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We are investigating this collision in which a motorcyclist sustained life threatening injuries.

“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision and who may have dash-cam footage to please get in touch.”
