Calling all gardeners and cooks, experienced and inexperienced, young or not so young: why not show off your gardening and culinary skills at the 16th annual Stony Stratford Harvest show which will be held this year on September 3 in the Catholic Church Hall at the rear of the Catholic Church in the High Street.

The show has classes for flowers, flower arranging, vegetables, fruit, domestic produce and children’s exhibits (vegetable animals, gardens on a plate, edible necklaces etc) and the show committee welcomes exhibits from new and existing exhibitors. The show is open to all - not only residents of Stony Stratford.

The hall will be open to exhibitors at 8.30am and all exhibits should be in place by 10.30am as the judging will start at 11.00am.

The show will be open to the public for viewing at 2.00pm and most of the exhibits will be sold by auction after the prizegiving has taken place at 3.30pm. The surplus money raised on the day will be donated to the Friends of Stony Stratford Health Centre.
