TWO drop-in sessions will be held at Wavendon Community Centre to discuss the next phase of Milton Keynes growth, the expansion of Milton Keynes East.
These will be held on Saturday, November 26 from 1pm to 4pm and Monday, November 28 from 7.30pm to 9pm
There will be an additional drop-in session in the Woburn Sands Memorial Hall on Thursday, November 24 between 4pm and 7pm.
An unattended exhibition of the proposals will be running at Woburn Sands Library from next Tuesday until December 9.
As part of the emerging Core Strategy, this area has been identified as suitable for sustainable growth and development for a maximum of 2,500 new homes and forms part of the overall expansion plan for Milton Keynes.
Councillor Andrew Morris, Cabinet Member for Planning, said: “These drop-in sessions are an opportunity for local residents to influence the future development of Milton Keynes. I encourage public input and comment in the planning process and the various development options proposed to assist the council to make informed decisions on the future development of Milton Keynes East.”
