PROPOSALS to build a wind farm on the outskirts of Stoke Goldington will go on display next week.

Independent British green energy company Ecotricity is holding two open days to present local people with more details of the plans, and offer them the right to voice their opinions.

Mike Cheshire, spokesman for Ecotricity, said: “We’ve spent many months refining our proposals to make sure we can bring about the maximum environmental benefit for minimal impact.

“We’re now able to discuss these plans with local people and businesses in more detail, and show why we think this is such a good spot to make clean, safe wind energy for 25,000 homes for the future.”

The open days are being held on Thursday, April 7 from 1.30pm to 6.30pm at Stoke Goldington Village Hall and on Friday, April 8 from 1.30pm to 6pm at Hanslope Village Hall.
