Could these nap-loving tots from Milton Keynes be the UK's sleepiest kids?

Meet little Adam Rockey, the Milton Keynes tot who could be heading for fame as the UK's sleepiest kid.

The placid nine-month-old loves his naps so much that he will nod off anywhere, says his mum Lisa Everaret, who entered the snap of Adam dozing of in the middle of his dinner into a national competition.

“He’s always been a sleepy child, which in all honesty comes as a relief as our first child was a completely different story,” said the Morrisons worker.

Adam is content to sleep wherever and whenever he can yet is very active in general, he just loves to sleep and is always practising it,” she added.

When it comes to bedtime, Adam is a joy as he looks forward to it and is very content with a story, giggles and then falling asleep.

“He would probably sleep quite happily on the stage of a live rock band and wake up both happy and refreshed!”” said the 39-year-old mum.

Adam’s love of sleep came as a pleasant surprise to Lisa and her partner.

“Our first child was the opposite, in fact both myself and my partner when it came to night times had to sleeping four hour shifts each as he was almost constantly awake,” she said.

Another strong contender from MK for the UK title is adorable Anya Rojczyk, who is also nine months old.

Her mum Helen, 35, snapped her dozing off in the middle of crawling across the living room!

“Clearly all this moving around was just too much for little Anya she fell asleep in her tracks,” said Helen, who is an accounts manager.

Both babies have been entered in a nationwide competition organised by online bed manufacturer Time4sleep.

Company director Jonathan Warren said: “As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to get a child into bed at night, yet they still manage to fall asleep at the most amusing times.”

He added; “We thought it would be fun to find people’s favourite moments of their sleepy kids, with the best winning a new bed to help them and their families go to sleep at night!”

To enter, share your photo on https://www.time4sleep.co.uk/blog/calling-all-sleepy-kids/ and uploading it with a caption or share it on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #SleepyKids. The winner will receive a children’s bed of their choice up to the value of £500.
