Creative pupils picture a model future for MK
Pupils were asked to imagine that they were the designers of their future city and they had a week to spend perfecting a project depicting their ideas.
Some created 3D models, others sketched out detailed drawings and a few even devised designs on the computer.

She said: “We really wanted to give our pupils the opportunity to be part of the discussions about the future of MK so we decided the best way of them expressing themselves was through a creative piece of art using various materials that they had at home or at the school.”
Eight winners were chosen at the end of the project. They each received a certificate of achievement, presented by MK Futures 2050 Commissioners MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman and local DJ and business entrepreneur Oliver Dean.
Pete said: “We are overwhelmed by the fantastic, innovative ideas the pupils of St Thomas Aquinas have made. Their imaginations are just what MK Futures 2050 is all about.”
