A new course of LOL! Workshops are being launched for young people with learning disabilities.

They are being run by Inter-Action MK, which has provided accessible art activities for more than 35 years.

The LOL! Workshops have been established since 2010, and have proved popular because they are somewhere everyone feels welcome and able to participate. The events are designed for young people with learning disabilities aged between 11 and 19 years of age.

Those attending are taught various creative activities through fun and hands-on sessions with professional artists and workshop leaders, which make the learning much easier.

The key sessions for this year are Film, with Jason Impey, Drama, with Amy Hill, and Arts & Crafts with Margaret Keeton.

The next series of LOL! Workshops take place at Inter-Action, based at The Old Rectory, Peartree Bridge, throughout February and March.

Workshops are £5 per session and can be paid for by cash or using Short Breaks Vouchers. Bookings are recommended as sessions are very popular.
