Another huge cannabis farm busted on a Milton Keynes estate

MK North neighbourhood officers executed a warrant under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act this morning.

It is the second raid in five days, and each has uncovered a large amount of cannabis plants being grown under a hydroponic system, which requires intense lights, heat and water.

This time the cheeky cultivator had bypassed the electrics at the property to get the supply from a heated towel rail in the bathroom.

"This shows how dangerous this can be," said a police spokesman.

The first cannabis raid took place at a house in last Thursday in Oldbrook, where nearby residents had been complaining for months about a strong smell of cannabis.
