A teenager was taken to hospital with two stab wounds after an altercation between a group of teenagers in Bletchley on Tuesday afternoon.
The boy, whose injuries are described as not life-threatening, was treated Milton Keynes Hospital.
The incident happened shortly after 3.30pm in Whaddon Way.
Police are working to establish the circumstances of the incident, but there have not been any arrests at this time.
Investigating officer Det Sgt Ian Holmes said: “We are working hard to establish exactly what happened in Whaddon Way, which resulted in a boy being taken to hospital with what are believed to be stab wounds.
“This is a very serious incident so if you were involved in this altercation, or know someone who is, then get in touch with us immediately.
“We believe there may have been people also with mobile phones who may have recorded what took place. If you saw the incident, please get in touch so we can establish what happened.
“Thankfully the boy’s injuries are not life-threatening but this could have been a lot more serious. Officers are in the area this evening so please don’t hesitate to approach one of them.”
