Bones found in Milton Keynes woodland today were animal remains, say forensic police
Police called to a find of suspected human remains in city woodland this afternoon have confirmed the bones are from an animal.

A police van and forensic officers were called to woodland near the Stanton Wood roundabout in MK this morning.
It is understood a member of the public had reported a suspicious object had been found in what was believed to be a "shallow grave",

Hide AdOfficer put a scene watch in place while the remains were examined by experts.
A police spokesman has now told the Citizen: "This object has now been confirmed as animal remains and the scene watch that was in place is now being lifted."
