Boy, 12, hospitalised after driver runs over his foot in Milton Keynes

A 12-year-old boy suffered a serious injury after a driver ran over his foot in Bletchley.

At around 3.25pm on Thursday, January 16, the boy was crossing Shenley Road, when a vehicle ran over his foot.

The vehicle, believed to be blue or grey, fled from the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for a serious injury to his foot. He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, PC Polly Rayner said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, during which a 12-year-old boy sustained a serious foot injury.

“The vehicle did not stop at the scene, and I am requesting that any witnesses come forward and speak to police.

“If anyone was in Shenley Road at around this time on January 16, please contact police if you have any information.

“I would also like to appeal to any motorists who have a dash cam fitted to their car, to review the footage.

“Please call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting 799 16/01/20. You can also make reports online.
