Boy, 13, attacked and robbed

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an incident where a 13-year-old boy was attacked and robbed.

The incident happened between 4.45pm and 5pm yesterday, in the underpass at the Westcroft roundabout V2/H7.

The victim was cycling through the underpass when two boys jumped out in front off him. One of the boys pushed the victim off his bike and held him up against the wall. The second offender then started to pull the stunt pegs from the victim’s BMX.

The first offender tried to grab the cord of the victim’s headphones, but the victim managed to punch him in the face. Both offenders then ran off in the direction of Howe Park Wood.

The first offender is white, around 15-years-old, of average build, and around 5ft 8ins. He was wearing a white hooded top pulled up over his head and jeans. The top had large pockets on the front and a small logo.

The second boy is white, around the same age as the first, 5ft 8ins, with a few brown freckles. He was wearing an orange hooded Adidas top which had visible crossing around the neck line in a V shape. He was also wearing jeans.

The victim was not injured in the incident.
