Call for two witnesses to come forward after assault in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for two specific witnesses following an assault in Milton Keynes.

Between 6.30am and 6.35am on February 18 in an area near Fishermead Boulevard and the Co-Op store a woman, aged in her 20s, was assaulted.

The victim ran away but was pursued by the offender as she ran towards the Co-Op and she was assaulted again.

The offender briefly spoke to another man who was behind them in the street and the victim shouted to a woman who was walking in the area to call for the police.

The offender is a black man around aged around 30 with short black hair. He’s around 5ft 9in and of slim build and was wearing blue jeans, a black top with ‘D Squared’ written on the front and a blue North Face jacket.

The victim suffered minor injuries but didn't require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Jade Tower, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who has witnessed any part of this assault.

“We would especially like to speak to the two witnesses, the man who spoke to the offender and the woman who spoke to the victim, near to the Co-Op store.

“It is fortunate in this case that the woman was not seriously injured."
